SRINAGAR: A seven-year-old girl died after being hit by a vehicle in the Barbar Shah area of Srinagar city on Sunday evening, officials said.

An official said that the girl was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle near Barbar Shah.
He said she was shifted to SMHS Hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead. The deceased was later identified as Sidra (7), daughter of Sajad Ahmad, a resident of Bihar.
Cognisance of the incident has been taken and a probe has been initiated, he added. (KNO)
