Adjustment Order Issued for Promoted SG Constables in Kashmir Zone

Srinagar, Nov 13 (Times of Kashmir): The Zonal Police Headquarters (ZPHQ) Kashmir has issued an official adjustment order for constables promoted as Selection Grade Constables (SG Constables) under multiple reference orders of ZPHQ Kashmir. The order, numbered 3358 of 2025 and dated 13 November 2025, was signed by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Zone, V.K. Birdi (IPS).

According to the order, constables who were promoted as SG Constables and are presently posted in the Kashmir Zone have been adjusted on an “as is where is” basis with effect from the dates they were promoted.

For internal coordination, copies of the order have been forwarded to All Range DIGs, all SSPs/SsP of the Kashmir Zone, and the SSP PCR Kashmir/SSP Tourism Enforcement J&K Srinagar for necessary action.

According to the document, officials who are under transfer orders to other ranges or districts but are yet to be relieved will be treated as adjusted at their respective places of transfer. Furthermore, officials currently performing duties on attachment basis with various offices or officers under PHQ/ZPHQ orders will continue their attachment until further orders.

The order references several prior ZPHQ Kashmir notifications, including Nos. 5328/2024, 5380/2024, 10/2025, 12/2025, 556/2025, 1303/2025, 1835/2025, 2083/2025, 2084/2025, 2113/2025, 2114/2025, 2183/2025, 2938/2025, and 2993/2025, among others.
