JKSSB Driver Provisional Selection List 2025 Released
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has officially released the Provisional Selection List for the post of Driver (UT Cadre) in the Home Department, J&K Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL). The recruitment was conducted under Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2025 dated 27 January 2025 for a total of 23 posts.
According to officials quoted by Kashmir News Channel (KNC), Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Global News Service (GNS), or Kashmir News Trust (KNT), the selection list has been approved by the JKSSB Board after due deliberations.

Selection Process for JKSSB Driver Posts
As notified earlier, the selection for the Driver posts was carried out in multiple stages:
The Driving Test was conducted from 02 April 2025 to 26 May 2025 at State Motor Garages, New Plot Jammu and Bemina Srinagar.
The OMR-based Written Examination was held on 15 June 2025.
Based on merit, Document Verification (DV) was conducted vide Notice dated 07 October 2025 at both Jammu and Srinagar.
A separate Document Verification for left-out candidates was conducted on 18 November 2025.
Approval of Provisional Selection List
The Selection Committee for the recruitment was constituted vide Order No. 332-SSB of 2025 dated 28.10.2025. The provisional selection list prepared by the committee was placed before the JKSSB Board in its 331st Board Meeting held on 19 December 2025, where it was approved for notification.
Important Conditions of JKSSB Provisional Selection List
The provisional selection list is subject to the outcome of any OAs or writ petitions, if pending before any court of law.
The list is also subject to the outcome of any pending inquiry involving selected candidates.
This is a provisional list, and inclusion does not confer any right to final selection.
The final selection shall be notified after examination of objections received, if any.
Objection Submission & Representation Process
Candidates who are aggrieved with the provisional selection list or wish to submit documents or clarifications regarding withheld candidature may submit their representation within five (05) days from the date of issuance of the notification.
