The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has issued an official order regarding the promotion and regularization of Accounts Officers in the Finance Department. As per Government Order No. 02-F of 2026 dated 01 January 2026, sanction has been accorded to the regularization of 13 Incharge Chief Accounts Officers and promotion of 23 Junior Scale Accounts Officers as Chief Accounts Officers in Pay Level-11.

Official Order Details
The order has been issued by Santosh D Vaidya, IAS, Principal Secretary to the Government, Finance Department. Copies of the order have been forwarded to the Additional Chief Secretary to the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Financial Commissioner Revenue, Ministry of Home Affairs, Director General Accounts and Treasuries, JKPSC, and other concerned departments for immediate implementation.
