SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) on Thursday announced scheduled power shutdowns across multiple areas in the Kashmir division in the coming days.

A Chief Engineer of KPDCL informed that the 33 KV Nowbugh-Chadoora line will be shut down on February 7, 2026, affecting power supply in Sogam, Repora, Dawlatpora, Panzan, Lalgam, Chadoora, Wathoora, Bugam, Gadsathoo, Kathairgund and surrounding areas from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
The 33 KV Achabal-Cherpora Tapline will also undergo shutdowns on February 7 and 9, disrupting supply to Achabal, Shangus, Nowgam, Cherpora and adjacent areas from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Similarly, the 33 KV Pampore-Lethpora line will be out of service on February 8 and 11, affecting Samboora, Lethpora, Patalbagh, Chandhara, Konibal, Dussoo and nearby areas from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Additionally, the 33 KV Pampore-Khrew line will be shut down on February 9, impacting Khrew, Buthan, PHE/Hospital, Shar A, Shar B, Wahab Sahab and adjoining areas from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
KPDCL urged consumers to plan accordingly and expressed regret for the inconvenience caused.
