Head Constable Passes Away After Suspected Cardiac Arrest in Srinagar

SRINAGAR: A head constable of Jammu and Kashmir Police died after he was found unconscious at a police station Rajbagh here on Tuesday, officials said.

Officials said that HC Mohammad Shafi, a resident of Tral and presently posted at Police Station Rajbagh, suddenly collapsed on the premises.

He was immediately shifted to SMHS Hospital for treatment, where he later succumbed.

Preliminary reports suggest that he may have suffered a heart attack. Further medical examination is underway to ascertain the exact cause of death, they added. (KNC)
