J&K Police Transfers Inspectors, Women Officials in Fresh Administrative Reshuffle
Srinagar, May 12: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday ordered a fresh reshuffle of Inspectors and women police officials in the interest of administration, according to official orders issued from Police Headquarters Srinagar.

As per Order No. 1508 of 2026, the Inspectors repatriated from ACB include Showkat Ahmad Khan, Manzoor Ahmad Beigh, Mohammad Saleem, Imtiyaz Ahmad, Muhammad Tufail, Manjeet Singh, Rajpal, Tanveer Hussain and Mohd Hafiz. They have been posted to Kashmir Zone, Jammu Zone and Armed Zone respectively.
The order further stated that Inspectors Tariq Hassan, Jaspal Singh, Nisar Hussain, Sohan Singh, Abhishek Sharma, Mukhtar Ali, Mohammad Iqbal and Rakesh Kumar have been transferred to the Anti Corruption Bureau from various zones and units across Jammu and Kashmir.
In addition, Inspector Vimal Kumar Kaul has been detached from Armed Zone and transferred to ACB for further duties with immediate effect.
In a separate order issued by Police Headquarters, five women police officials presently posted in SPS Police Training School Kathua have been transferred to their parent zones.
The officials include W/ASI Trishala Devi, W/HC Nirmal Kumari, W/SGCt Neelam Devi, W/SGCt Parveen Jyoti and W/Follower Rekha Devi. Most of them have been posted back to Armed Zone, while one official has been transferred to Jammu Zone.
The orders stated that all officers and officials shall be relieved forthwith after approval from the competent authority.
