J&K law officers transfer: J&K Govt Issues Transfer Orders for Law Officers: SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Friday ordered the transfer and posting of two officers in the Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs with immediate effect as part of an administrative reshuffle.

According to Government Order No. 6205-JK(LD) of 2026 dated May 15, issued by the Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Suhail Hassan Tantray, Additional Secretary to the Government presently posted in the Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir, has been transferred and posted as Director Litigation, Kashmir.

The order stated that Tantray will also continue to hold the additional charge of litigation work of the Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir, till further orders.

Meanwhile, Shakeel Ahmad, Assistant Legal Remembrancer presently posted in the Directorate of Health Services, Jammu, and holding additional charge of litigation work of Government Medical College Jammu and Government Dental College Jammu, has been transferred and posted to Government Medical College Jammu on a full-time basis.

However, Ahmad will continue to hold the additional charge of litigation work of Government Dental College Jammu until further orders, the order said.

The government further directed that both officers shall be deemed relieved from the date of issuance of the order.(KASHMIR LIFE)
