The recruitment drive is being conducted for engagement of Tutor/Demonstrator in the Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology on an Academic Arrangement basis.

GMC Rajouri Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants applying for the Tutor/Demonstrator post must fulfill the eligibility conditions prescribed by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and the Health & Medical Education Department.
Preference will be given to candidates possessing:
- MD in Forensic Medicine & Toxicology
- DNB in Forensic Medicine & Toxicology
Candidates must also possess valid registration certificates from MCI/NMC/State Medical Council.
Age Limit for GMC Rajouri Recruitment
The maximum age limit for applicants is:
- 50 Years as on the prescribed cut-off date.
Tenure of Appointment
The appointment under GMC Rajouri Recruitment 2026 shall be purely temporary and on Academic Arrangement basis.
- Initial Appointment: 01 Year
- Extendable Up to: 03 Years
- Extension Subject To: Satisfactory Performance
The engagement shall not confer any right for permanent appointment.
Salary Details
For PSC/In-Service Candidates
- Salary shall be released as per Last Pay Certificate (LPC).
- Candidates must submit prior permission and NOC from the Administrative Department.
- Applications should be routed through the Administrative Department.
For Non-PSC Candidates
Selected candidates shall receive:
- Consolidated salary equivalent to the minimum of pre-revised Medical Officer scale.
- Salary as per SRO-193 dated 24-04-2018.
- Dearness Allowance (DA) included.
- Eligible for House Rent Allowance (HRA) as applicable.
However, candidates shall not be entitled to any additional monetary benefits.

Selection Process
Selection of candidates will be made strictly as per:
- Latest guidelines issued by Health & Medical Education Department
- NMC eligibility norms
- Government Order No. 382-JK(HME) of 2024 dated 20-06-2024
The decision of the Selection Committee shall be final.
Important Terms and Conditions
- Maximum engagement period shall not exceed 03 years.
- No further extension shall be granted beyond permissible tenure.
- Candidature shall remain provisional till document verification.
- Incomplete applications or false information may lead to rejection.
- Candidates must ensure eligibility before applying.
