Srinagar, June 5: The Jammu and Kashmir Home Department has authorized Accounts Officers posted with Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners across all 22 districts and divisions of the Union Territory to function as Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs).
According to the order, the designated Accounts Officers will exercise the powers of DDOs for handling financial and administrative matters related to their respective offices. The move is aimed at streamlining financial management and ensuring greater efficiency in the processing of official expenditures and accounts.
