Body of a 67-year-old man was found and retrieved from a river jk
According to officials, the body of a 67-year-old man who had been missing since March 5 was discovered and recovered from a river. The deceased was identified as Mohammad Shaban Sofi, son of Mohammad Shukoor and a resident of Arampora Drugmulla.
Passersby spotted his semi-decomposed body in Braripora Handwara and alerted the authorities, who arrived at the scene and transported the body to DH Handwara for further investigation.
A police official confirmed the retrieval of the body and stated that they were conducting medico-legal formalities to determine the cause of death. The news was reported by GNS News.
