Director of School Education in Jammu announces new school timing schedule for summer zone areas

The Director of School Education of Jammu (DSEJ) has announced a change in the school timings for the summer zone areas of Jammu Division. As per the order issued on Thursday, the new school timing schedule will be effective from May 1 for all government and recognized private schools up to the Higher Secondary level in the summer zone of Jammu division.

The revised timing schedule for schools in the summer zone of Jammu division will be from 8.00 am to 2.00 pm, as per the DSEJ order. This timing schedule will be effective from May 1, 2023, to September 30, 2023.
