Education Department Seeking Teachers’ PG Degree Information in J&K

The School Education Department (SED) in Jammu and Kashmir has initiated a comprehensive process to verify the legitimacy of postgraduate degrees earned by in-service teachers in previous years. The purpose of this exercise is to determine the seniority of these teachers. As part of this effort, the department has requested information on the postgraduate degrees of teachers throughout the region.

The administrative department has directed the Director of School Education in both the Kashmir and Jammu divisions to furnish information regarding the pursuit of postgraduate degrees in different fields by in-charge lecturers, masters, and teachers while in service.
