The Government Ayurvedic Medical College Akhnoor has issued a job recruitment advertisement for the engagement of teaching staff on an Academic Arrangement Basis under S.0-364, dated 27-11-2020. The purpose of this recruitment is to fulfill the minimum standards of requirements prescribed by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), GoI.

 

Govt Ayurvedic Medical College job recruitment Eligibility 

 

Eligible candidates are invited to apply for the below-mentioned posts on an Academic Arrangement Basis, initially for a period of one year, which can be extended up to a maximum of six years, subject to good performance and conduct or till the selection is made in accordance with the rules of Recruitment governing the respective posts, whichever is earlier. However, the extension granted under these rules shall not be beyond a period of six years under any circumstances.

Govt Ayurvedic Medical College job recruitment Details

The details of the posts are as follows.

 

Essential Qualifications :
A. For the post of Lecturer/Assistant Professor
i. A Bachelor degree in Ayurveda from a University or Its equivalent as recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine or National Commission for Indian System of Medicine under the Act.
II. A Post Graduate qualification in Ayurveda in the concerned subject or specialty from a University recognized by Central Council of Indian Medicine or National Commission for Indian System of Medicine under the Act.
B. For the post of Reader/Associate Professor
i. A Bachelor degree in Ayurveda from a University or its equivalent as recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine or National Commission for Indian System of Medicine under the Act.
ii. A Post Graduate qualification in Ayurveda in the concerned subject or specialty from a University recognized by Central Council of Indian Medicine or National Commission for Indian System of Medicine under the Act.

B. For the post of Reader/Associate Professor

i. A Bachelor degree in Ayurveda from a University or its equivalent as recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine or National Commission for Indian System of Medicine under the Act.

ii. A Post Graduate qualification in Ayurveda in the concerned subject or specialty from a University recognized by Central Council of Indian Medicine or National Commission for Indian System of Medicine under the Act.

iii. Five years of teaching experience as regular teacher in the concerned subject and having a minimum of three (03) Research papers published in recognized Medical Journals.

 

Self Attested photocopies of following documents are mandatory to be attached. 1. Date of Birth Certificate (Matriculation). 2. BAMS Degree and Marks Certificate (Aggregate). 3. Post Graduation degree in concerned discipline. 4. Registration Certificate from J&K board of Ayurvedic, Unani, Sowa-Rigpa, Yoga & Naturopathy Systems of Medicine. 5. Domicile Certificate. 6. Experience certificate with NCISM Teacher Code, if any. 7. Publications published in a recognized Journal. 8. An affidavit duly attested by 1st Class Magistrate that the candidate is not in active Government Rewrite
Important Notification

The candidates applying for the job recruitment must attach self-attested photocopies of the following mandatory documents:

  1. Date of Birth Certificate (Matriculation).

  8. An affidavit duly attested by 1st Class Magistrate that the candidate is not in active government service.

Note :

1. The incomplete application in any respect shall be rejected without any Intimation.

2. In case of any dispute, the decision of chairperson of the selection committee shall be final or subject to the outcome of writ petition (s), if any pending before the Court of Law.
