Gulmarg Gondola open for tourists on the occasion of Eid
The Gondola cable car project in Gulmarg, a famous ski resort in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, was open for tourists on the occasion of Eid. This move was initiated as a welcome gesture to tourists, and it marked the first time in history that the Gulmarg gondola was kept open on Eid day.

Ghulam Jeelan Zargar, the Managing Director of Cable Car Corporation, explained that due to the heavy rush and unexpected demand, many tourists might not get tickets. However, the management, under the guidance of Secretary of Tourism Abid Rasheed Shah, decided to keep the gondola open even on Eid Day.

The management conducted full-day commercial operations, and while many tourists may have been disappointed due to the high demand, they were able to enjoy the gondola ride and experience the beautiful scenery.qouting by KNS
