Jammu and Kashmir government orders Transfer of 70 Judges : List here
Jammu and Kashmir, the government has announced a major reshuffle of the judiciary. Over 70 judges have been transferred and posted to different locations across the region. This decision has been taken in the interest of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the judiciary.
Ms. Bala Jyoti, P.O. J&K Labour and Industrial Tribunal, is repatriated from deputation and posted as Special Judge Anti- Corruption Court (CBI cases), Jammu vice Shri Ramesh Kumar Wattal.
2. Shri Mohammad Yousuf Wani, Principal District & Sessions Judge, Baramulla is transferred and posted as Member, J&K Special Tribunal, Srinagar on deputation vice Shri Shujat Ali Khan.
3. Shri Jaffer Hussain Beg, Principal District & Sessions Judge, Kathua, is transferred and posted as Principal District & Sessions Judge, Anantnag vice Shri S.C Kattal.
4. Shri Ashok Kumar Shavan, Principal District & Sessions Judge,Poonch is transferred and posted as Principal District andSessions Judge, Kathua vice Shri Jaffer Hussain Beg.
5. Shri Mohammad Ashraf Malik, Principal District & Sessions
Judge, Budgam is transferred and posted as Principal District &Sessions Judge, Baramulla vice Shri Mohammad Yousuf Wani.
6. Shri Ravinder Nath Wattal, Principal District & Sessions Judge, Reasi, is transferred and posted as Principal District & Sessions Judge, Rajouri vice Ms. Kalpana Revo.
7. Shri Yash Paul Kotwal, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Kishtwar, is transferred and posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge, Samba vice Ms. Sonia Gupta.
8. Ms. Jeema Bashir, Registrar Inspection, High Court Wing Srinagar, is transferred and posted as P.O MACT, Srinagar on deputation vice Shri Gowher Majid Dalal.

transferred and posted as Principal District & Sessions Judge,
Reasi vice Shri Ravinder Nath Wattal.
10. Ms. Kalpana Revo, Principal District & Sessions Judge Rajouri, Is transferred and posted as P.O. J&K Labour and Industrial Tribunal on deputation vice Ms. Bala Jyoti.

Srinagar, is transferred and posted as 2nd Additional District Judge, Jammu vice Shri Balbir Lal. 15. Ms. Rupali Ratta, District Judge, LRP, Jammu, is transferred
and posted as Registrar Inspection, High Court Wing Jammua gainst the available post.
16. Shri Balbir Lal, 2nd Additional District and Sessions Judge,
Jammu, is transferred and posted as Additional District &Sessions Judge, Anantnag against the available vacancy.
17. Shri Ashwani Kumar Sharma, 3rd Additional District & Sessions Judge (TADA/POTA), Jammu, is transferred and posted as Principal District & Sessions Judge, Poonch vice Shri Ashok Kumar Shavan.

20. Shri Abdul Nasir, Additional District Judge, Bank Cases,
Srinagar, is transferred and posted as P.O MACT, Jammu on
deputation vice Shri Mohammad Ashraf Khan.
21.Shri Surinder Singh, P.O Fast Track Court, Ramban, is transferred and posted as Special Judge Anticorruption, Srinagar vice Shri Chain Lal Bavoria.
22. Shri Ajay Kumar Gupta, 1st Additional District and Sessions
Judge, Srinagar, is transferred and posted as Principal Judge,
Family Court, Jammu vice Ms. Kusum Lata Pandita. 23. Shri Sudhir Kumar Khajuria, 3rd Additional District & Sessions Judge, Srinagar, is transferred and posted as P.O Fast Track Court, Jammu vice Shri Khalil Ahmad Chowdhary.
24. Shri Om Prakash Thakur, One Man Forest Authority, is repatriated from deputation and posted as Additional District & Sessions Judge, Pulwama against the available vacancy.
25. Shri Gowher Majid Dalal, P.O. MACT, Srinagar, is repatraled
