Jammu and Kashmir Govt Promotes 665 Teachers As Masters
Sub: Promotion of Trained Graduate/Post Graduate teachers as Masters in the Pay Level-6 E (35900-113500)
Pursuant to the decision of Divisional Departmental Promotion committee taken in the meeting held on 20-12-2022, sanction is hereby accorded to the promotion of 665 graduate/post graduate (BEd) trained teachers as Masters in the pay Level-6 E (35900- 113500) w.e.f 20-12-2022, whose particulars are reflected in the Annexure “A to J” (District wise) to this office order subject to the fulfillment of following conditions
1. The Drawing & Disbursing Officers concerned shall verify particulars of each official
and genuineness of his/her appointment with reference to original service records/appointment/regularization order and shall ensure that the particulars reflected in the promotion order are correct
2. The Drawing & Disbursing Officers shall satisfy themselves about the genuineness
of qualification/degree certificates and ensuring that the officials have qualified such
degrees through recognized Universities as per Govt order No. 940-Edu of 2017
dated 17-11-2017.
3. The Drawing & Disbursing officer concerned shall verify the genuineness of B Ed Degree He/She shall verify the permission is obtained in case of regular course and B.Ed degree is UGC and DEC approved if acquired through distance mode. The other conditions laid down in Govt order No. 940-Edu of 2017 dated 17-11-2017 should also be fulfilled. However, the promotion shall be given effect from 20-12- 2022 only
4. That the trained Graduate/Post Graduate general line teachers who have been transferred from Kashmir Division to Jammu Division and whose lien/promotion
