Jammu and Kashmir Police Headquarters Promotes 29 Officers to Higher Ranks

 

 

J&K Police Promotes 20 Sub-Inspectors and 9 Ministerial Cadre Officers

 

The Jammu and Kashmir Police Headquarters has issued promotion orders for 20 Sub-Inspectors of the Ministerial Executive Cadre, seven Ministerial Executive Cadre (Steno) officers to the rank of Inspectors, and two Assistant Sub-Inspectors Ministerial Executive Cadre to the rank of Sub Inspector.

The promotions were announced after a Departmental Promotion Committee meeting, chaired by the Director General of Police J&K Dilbag Singh at the Police Headquarters J&K, scrutinized the service records of the officers.

Qouting by KNO ,Congratulating the officers and their families, DGP Dilbag Singh expressed hope that the promotion would boost their morale and inspire them to work with more dedication for the betterment of the department and the people of J&K. Among the officers promoted as Inspector (M) were Sanjay Peshin, Mushtaq Ahmad, Nazir Ahmad Mistary, Abdul Majeed Mir, Abdul Rashid, Mohammad Ashraf Rather, Shabir Ahmad Shah, Javaid Ahmad Lone, Sardar Kulwant Singh, Ghulam Jeelani Dar, Khursheed Ahmad Shah, Tariq Ahmad Bhat, Manzoor Ahmad Rather, Jagdish Singh, Rajinder Kumar, Ghulam Hyder Malik, Narinder Kumar, and Neelam Kumari.

The seven officers promoted as Inspector (S) were Prince Nissar, Punam Koul, Rajni Chalotra, Prince Ji Bhat, Altaf Hussain Wani, Mohammad Shafi Hurrah, and Neeraj Koul. Two officers promoted as SI (M) were Ather Masood Qadri and Javid Ahmad Bhat.

Additionally, DGP Dilbag Singh decorated Pradeep Singh with the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspector in a pipping ceremony held at Police Headquarters. The AIG (Personnel) PHQ, Virinder Singh Manhas, was present on the occasion to congratulate the officer and his family.
