Jammu University’s written test syllabus and selection criteria.

In supersession to all the earlier notifications issued by the University with regard to Selection Criteria /Syllabus for the conduct of Screening Written Test for below mentioned posts.

The following shall be the Selection Criteria for these posts:

Assistant Registrar, Semi-Professional Assistant, Curator (Botany), Laboratory Assistant (Zoology), Junior Engineer (Civil), Junior Engineer (Electrical), Law Officer, and Assistant Manager (Guest House).

For all the above posts, the Selection list shall be drawn on the basis of the composite score against the weightages mentioned against each as follows:

• Marks percentage of Qualifying Degree Examination: 20%
• Written/Screening Test: 60%
•  Personal Interview: 20%

Note: A merit list of the candidate/s having scored a minimum 50 % marks in written/Screening test (relaxation of marks to reserved categories as per Govt. norms) shall be drawn and the candidates in the ratio of 1:20 and additional 05 candidates for the second post (i.e. 25 candidates for two posts) and so on, shall be shortlisted for Personal Interview provided they are otherwise eligible for the said post.
