J&K Govt Notification for Registration of Unorganized Workers on e-shram Portal
Registration of Unorganized workers on e-shram portal for creation of National Database of Unorganized Workers (NDUW).
The central Government is creating National Database for all the unorganised workers between the age group 16-59 years, who are not a member of PF, EPFO, NPS, ESIC and not an income tax payer. Every individual can register on the e-shram portal through Common Service Centre or Self Registration.
The following documents are required to register on the portal :
Aadhar Card
Saving Bank Account number with IFSC code
The aim of the scheme is to register un-organised workers like migrant workers, construction workers, domestic workers, milkmen, migrant workers, auto-rickshaw/truck drivers, fishermen, agriculture workers, Asha workers, Aanganwadi workers, MGNREGA Workers, Midday meal workers, Street Vendors, Platform workers, unorganized plantation workers etc.
The registration for the scheme is free of cost.
Therefore it is impressed upon all the line departments:
To mobilise target sub groups of unorganized workers for registration under e-shram portal.
To mobilise target group of prospective beneficiaries for registration on e-shram through respective labour unions /workers associations/federations/civil society organisation/NGOs working for the welfare of the unorganised workers.
To plan/ensure regular registrations Camps at the district/Tehsil/Block and CSC level for the unorganised workers.
To undertake information, Education and Communication campaign with prospective beneficiaries of eShram i.e. unorganized workers.
To undertake registration drives by using mobile CSCs in labour chowks, brick kilns, fishermen sites, milk union collection centres, and in villages to cover agriculture labourers.
Vide this office Order NO. ADDCJ.32 of 2021-22 dated 01-11-2021, broad target were fixed. To achieve these targets camps will be organized in the following offices :
