Tentative Seniority List of Section Officers of Heads of the Departments/Officers as it stood on 01.01.2023
Tentative Seniority List of Section Officers of Heads of the Departments/Offices as it stood on 01.01.2023.
Whereas, vide Government Order No. 500-JK(GAD) of 2021 dated 08.06.2021, a Common Seniority list of Section Officers of Heads of Departments/Offices was notified; and
Whereas, during the intervening period, the names of various Section Officers of the Head of Departments/Offices have been recommended by the concerned Heads of Departments for inclusion in the said seniority list; and, Whereas, the cases of these Section Officers have been examined in
the General Administration Department and the requisite information, in respect
of the cases where deficiencies were observed, was sought from the concerned
departments vide Letter dated 10.03.2022 and dated 15.07.2022 with the
stipulation that failure to provide the information shall entail non-inclusion in the
tentative seniority list of Section Officers; and,
Whereas, the name(s) of such Section Officers who have been promoted as Administrative Officers or have retired on superannuation, are required to be excluded from the seniority list.
Now, therefore, a common tentative seniority list of Section Officers of the Heads of the Departments cadre, as it stood on 01.01.2023 forming Annexure to this notification, is hereby circulated among all the Section Officers of Heads of the Departments cadre for information.
Any Section Officers who may not be satisfied with the position assigned to him/her in the common tentative seniority list, may submit his/her representation/objections, if any, with the documentary proof to the concerned Heads of the Department within a week’s time, who shall forward the same with specific recommendations to the General Administration Department within a period of 15 days from the date of issuance of this notification. After expiry of the said period, no objection in this regard shall be entertained. Fresh cases for inclusion in the seniority list of Section Officers, if received in future, shall be examined separately.
