JKBOPEE B.ed Admission Provisional Selection List Download PDF
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has released a Provisional Selection List of candidates for admission to the B.Ed. Course-2022 in the Government College of Education, Canal Road, Jammu, as per the Notification No. 013-BOPEE of 2023 dated 14-02-2023. However, due to non-joining of candidates, there is a shortfall of seats in the college. To fill up the vacant seats, JKBOPEE has issued a notification (with Annexure-A) listing the Provisionally selected candidates for admission to the B.Ed. Course-2022 based on their merit.
The Provisionally selected candidates are required to report to the Government College of Education, Canal Road, Jammu, before 3rd of March, 2023, until 04:00 p.m. Along with their original documents/certificates, which include Qualifying Marks Certificate (10+2+3), Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K / Ladakh (for candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by Competent Authority of UT of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile Certificate), Category Certificate (if applicable), Date of Birth (DOB) Certificate, and any other certificate required by the College in accordance with the rules.
The Principal of the College will verify the above documents/certificates from the Incharge admissions and countersign them before allowing the candidate(s) to complete their admission formalities. If any candidate fails to complete their admission formalities on 3rd of March, 2023, until 05:00 p.m., the Principal is advised to notify JKBOPEE about the shortfall through email at [email protected] / [email protected]. The Annexure-A will only be available on the official website of the Board, viz. www.jkbopee.gov.in
2. The Principal of the Institution is advised to ensure to admit only those candidates whose documents are complete in all respects. In case if any deficiency /discrepancy is found during the verification of the documents/certificates including Marks Card, such candidate (s) should not be allowed admission under any circumstances. Any lapse in this regard will be the sole responsibility of the concerned Head of the Institution.
Note:
1. Due to non-availability of the eligible candidate in reserved categories i.e. ALC/IB (02), SC (02), & RBA (01), seats have been converted into Open Merit under Section-9 (2) of J&K Reservation Act-2004 and have been filled up by the eligible Open Merit category candidate
3. The candidates whose ranks are shown in the table given below had been selected earlier in their respective categories vide Notification Nos. 009-BOPEE of 2023 dated 28.01.2023 & 013-BOPEE of 2023 dated 14-02-2023 respectively are now hereby treated to have been selected in Open Merit.
