Man Arrested for Allegedly Attempting to Murder Son in Srinagar
A man, Mehmood Ahmad Wani, was arrested in Sonawar locality in Srinagar district, central Kashmir, on charges of attempting to murder his son.
according to an official statement from GNS news,Following a heated argument, Mehmood Ahmad Wani, son of Nazir Ahmad Wani, allegedly stabbed his son, whose name is withheld. The victim was quickly taken to a nearby hospital, where his condition is reported as stable.
The police have filed an FIR (121/2023) under section 307 of the IPC against the accused. The weapon used in the offense has also been recovered at the scene, according to an official statement from GNS news.
