NIACL Announces Recruitment for 450 Officers in Scale:SRINAGAR: The New India Assurance Company Ltd. (NIACL), a leading Public Sector General Insurance Company, is inviting applications for the recruitment of 450 Officers (Generalists and Specialists) in Scale I cadre from the open market. The online application process begins on August 1, 2023, and the last date to apply is August 21, 2023.
The vacancies are distributed across various disciplines, including Generalists, Risk Engineers, Automobile Engineers, Lawyers, Accountants, Health, and IT. It’s important to note that applying for more than one discipline will invalidate all of the candidate’s submissions.
The number of vacancies is provisional and may vary according to the actual requirements of the Company at the relevant time. To be eligible, a candidate must have at least a graduate or postgraduate degree in any field from a recognized university or any other equivalent degree recognized by the Central Government. General candidates should have at least 60% in either of the degree examinations, while SC/ST/PwBD candidates should have at least 55%.

The preliminary examination (Phase-I Online Examination) will be held on September 9, 2023 (tentative), while the main examination (Phase-II Online Examination) will take place on October 8, 2023 (tentative).
