SKUAST Jammu Invites Applications for Project Associate I/JRF Position:The Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST) in Jammu is seeking applications from eligible Indian nationals for a temporary position of Project Associate I/Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DBT funded research project titled “Germplasm characterization and trait discovery in wheat using genomic approaches and its integration for improving climate resilience, productivity, and nutritional quality” within the School of Biotechnology.

Position Details:

  • Designation: Project Associate I/JRF
  • Number of Posts: One
  • Emoluments: Rs 31,000 + HRA per month
  • Essential Qualification and Upper Age Limit: M.Sc. in Agriculture (Plant Breeding and Genetics, Plant Physiology, or Seed Science & Technology) or M.Sc. in Biotechnology. The upper age limit is 35 years as of August 31, 2023.
  • Desirable Qualification and Experience: Candidates with NET qualification in the concerned subject or field-based crop data collection experience are preferred. For non-NET/GATE candidates, the monthly salary will be Rs 25,000 + HRA. Relevant experience in the collection of morphological data on field crops will be considered.
