Tourist from Chhattisgarh dies of cardiac arrest in South Kashmir
On Monday, a tourist from Chhattisgarh passed away due to cardiac arrest in the Bijbehara area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district. The deceased has been identified as Zaiauddin Sheikh, a 67-year-old man from Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
According to an official, he fell unconscious in the Bijbehara area and was immediately taken to the SDH Bijbehara.
However, the doctors declared him brought dead upon arrival.
The local authorities have initiated further proceedings in this regard. It is always advisable for tourists to take care of their health and seek medical help if they feel unwell during their travels.(KS)
