1 dead, 3 injured as SUV falls into Dal Lake
Srinagar, May 26 One person died and three others sustained injuries after a SUV vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident at Foreshore Road here on Tuesday evening.
An official told that an EcoSport vehicle( No. JK01V-3260) hit a roadside divider at Lashkari Mohalla and subsequently fell into Dal Lake.
He said four youth were travelling in the vehicle at the time of the accident. “One of them died on the spot while the others were injured,” he said.
The deceased was identified as Zameen, son of Showkat Ahmad, of Rainawari. The injured were rescued and shifted to SKIMS for treatment, where their condition is stated to be stable.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further details are awaited
