SRINAGAR: A 21-year-old youth was found dead at his residence in the Qadi Pora area of Budgam in the intervening night of Thursday and Friday, officials said.

An official said that the youth was found unconscious at his residence in Qadi Pora, following which police were informed.
He said police reached the spot and took the body into custody. The deceased was identified as Shafat Hussain (21), a resident of Qadi Pora, Budgam.
Meanwhile, the body will be handed over to the family after completion of the necessary formalities for the last rites. Police have initiated an investigation into the incident.—(KNO)
