Srinagar: Several areas across Kashmir will face scheduled power disruptions on September 19, 21 and 22, 2026, due to maintenance-related shutdowns on transmission and distribution lines, according to details released by the Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL).

The scheduled shutdowns will affect areas across Budgam, Chadoora, Bandipora, Sopore and adjoining regions, with power supply remaining unavailable for specified hours on different dates.

Residents in the affected areas are advised to take note of the shutdown timings and make necessary arrangements in advance.

KPDCL Power Shutdown on September 21

Power supply to Sogam, Ropore, Chadoora, Wathoora, Bugam, Dawlatpora, Gudsuthoo, Panzan, Lalgam, Ranger, Kathairgund, Kakawring, Yousmarg, Charar-i-Sharief, Rakhaye, Tilsera, Badipora, Nagam, Hayatpora, Hafroo, Buzgoo, Gogjipathri, Laden, Loolipora, Nagbal, Brinjin, Watkaloo and adjoining areas will remain affected.

The shutdown will be observed from 8 am to 3 pm on September 21 due to the scheduled shutdown of the 132 KV Budgam-Chadoora double-circuit transmission line.

Power Shutdown in Nowpora and Nearby Areas on September 19

Power supply to Nowpora, Seelo, Achabal, Behrampora, Bomai, Bugoo and adjoining areas will be affected from 8 am to 2 pm on September 19.

The disruption is due to the scheduled shutdown of the 33 KV Amargarh-Nowpora line.

Achabal to Face Power Disruption on September 21

The 33 KV Amargarh-Nowpora-Achabal Tapline will remain shut from 8 am to 2 pm on September 21.

As a result, power supply to Achabal and adjoining areas will be affected during the scheduled maintenance period.

Bandipora Areas to Face Shutdown on September 22

Power supply to Watlab, Warpora, Hathlangoo, Dangerpora, Qunsoo, Dooru, Mundji, Shiva, Tujjar, Shrine, Arampora, Adipora and adjoining areas will be affected on September 22.

The scheduled shutdown of the 33 KV Amargarh-Bandipora line will remain in effect from 8 am to 2 pm.

Power Shutdown in Narbal and Nearby Areas on September 19 and 21

Residents of Narbal, Kawoosa, Lawaypora, Sozeith, Sanoor, Malpora, Radbugh, Railway Station Mazhama and adjoining areas will also face scheduled power disruption.

According to the shutdown schedule, power supply will remain affected from 8 am to 3 pm on September 19 and September 21 due to the scheduled shutdown of the 33 KV Sanoor Tapline.
