JKBOPEE BPT 2026 Revised Selection List Released After 1st Counselling
Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has released the revised provisional selection list for BPT Course-2026 after the completion of the first round of online counselling.
The revised list has been issued through Notification No. 204-BOPEE of 2026 dated September 18, 2026, following changes in the seat matrix of Jammu College of Physiotherapy (JCP).
The Board has withdrawn Annexure-A of Notification No. 202-BOPEE of 2026 dated September 18, 2026, and issued a revised provisional selection list after examining the representation submitted by Jammu College of Physiotherapy.
Why JKBOPEE Revised the BPT Selection List
According to the notification, JKBOPEE had earlier conducted the first round of online counselling for admission to BPT Course-2026.
Candidates were allowed to submit their online preferences and choices from September 14, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. to September 16, 2026, till midnight.
Following the counselling process, JKBOPEE issued a provisional selection list through Notification No. 202-BOPEE of 2026 dated September 18, 2026 and invited representations from candidates up to 1:30 p.m. on September 18, 2026.
The issue concerned the seat distribution at Jammu College of Physiotherapy.
Change in Jammu College of Physiotherapy Seat Matrix
The State Allied and Healthcare Council, through its letter dated August 31, 2026, had communicated an intake of 60 seats for Jammu College of Physiotherapy without bifurcation.
As a result, the entire intake of 60 seats had been incorporated into the seat matrix as Open Merit (OM) seats in the earlier selection list.
However, Jammu College of Physiotherapy subsequently raised a concern regarding the distribution of these seats and submitted supporting documents to the Board.
The college claimed the following distribution:
- 40 seats – Open Merit (OM)
- 15 seats – Management Quota
- 5 seats – P&B seats
After examining the matter and the supporting documents produced by the college, JKBOPEE decided to revise the selection list.
What Has Changed in the Revised BPT Selection List?
As per JKBOPEE Notification No. 204-BOPEE of 2026, only 40 OM seats in Jammu College of Physiotherapy have been incorporated into the revised seat matrix.
The earlier Annexure-A to Notification No. 202-BOPEE of 2026 has consequently been withdrawn.
The Board has now appended the revised provisional selection list as Annexure-A to Notification No. 204-BOPEE of 2026.
