Kashmir Power Shutdown Schedule: Several Areas to Face Electricity Cuts on October 28, 31 and November 3, 7
Srinagar: Residents across several parts of Kashmir will experience scheduled power outages on October 28, October 31, November 3 and November 7 due to planned maintenance shutdowns of transmission and distribution lines, the Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced.

According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the shutdowns will affect areas across Ganderbal, Bandipora, Baramulla and adjoining regions, with outages scheduled mainly between 9 am and 3 pm or 10 am and 3 pm, depending on the affected line.
Power Shutdown on October 28
Power supply will remain affected from 9 am to 3 pm on October 28 due to the scheduled shutdown of the 220 kV Zainakote–Alusteng transmission line, Circuits I and II.
The affected areas include Shuhama, Bakura, Fethapora, Gadoora, Tulbag, Chundina, Saloora, Sherpathri, Beehama, Arampora, Arch, Nunner, Manigam, Duderhama, Malshaibagh, Wayil, Gultibagh, Pandach, Khalmullah, Umerheir, Panchayat, Ahmadnagar, Pathan Colony, Gulabagh, Kurhama, Yangpora, Baroosa, Old Dab, Checki Baba Salun, Sainik School, Rabitar, Kondbal, GCET Safapora, Lar, Waliwar, Watlar, Repora, Tulmulla, Dangerpora, Theeru, Larsun, Safapora, Central University, Gratbal, Jarakobagh, Hajin, Preng, Madwan, Banyari, Hakbara, Army Camp, Chandgeer, Aloosa, Malangam, Quil, Nishat, Papchan, Ajas, SK Bala, Sadunara, Bazipora, Nadihal, Guroora, Argam, Wanpora, Dawar, NHPC, Tragbal, Peerbaba, Razdan Top, Gund, Kullan, Surfraw, Gagangeer, Sonamarg, Fraw, Ganiwan, Z-Morh Tunnel, Mammer, Wangath, Kangan, Akhal, Baba Nagri and Canal, along with adjoining areas.
Boniyar Areas to Face Power Cut on November 3
Electricity supply to Boniyar, Trikanjan and adjoining areas will remain affected from 10 am to 3 pm on November 3 due to the scheduled shutdown of the 33 kV Boniyar line.
Watergam Areas: October 31, November 3 and 7
The 33 kV Watergam line will remain shut down from 10 am to 3 pm on October 31, November 3 and November 7.
The affected areas include Watergam, Hachipora, Palpora, Behrampora, Dangiwacha, Hadipora and Safalpora, along with adjoining localities.
Malpora Areas to Face Power Cut on October 31
Power supply to Chandoosa, Hospital, Dangerpora, Sultanpora, Gantamulla, Malpora, Hevan, Namblan, Nowshera, Limber, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) and adjoining areas will remain affected from 10 am to 3 pm on October 31 due to the scheduled shutdown of the 33 kV Malpora line.
Residents in the affected areas are advised to plan their daily activities accordingly and make necessary arrangements during the scheduled outage hours.
