SKUAST-K Releases Provisional Answer Key for SMS Recruitment Test; Objections Invited Till October 29
SRINAGAR: The Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K) has released the provisional answer key for the OMR-based University Recruitment Test (URT-2026) conducted for the posts of Subject Matter Specialists (SMS) in Food Science and Technology and Home Science.

According to a notification issued by the Office of the Controller of Examinations on October 26, 2026, the written examination was held on October 26 at Srinagar for Post Code 88. The provisional answer keys for all four question booklet series—A, B, C and D—have been uploaded to the university’s official website for candidates’ reference.
The university has invited objections from candidates who believe that any answer in the provisional key is incorrect. Applicants must submit their representations in the prescribed format, along with supporting documentary evidence and a fee of ₹200 per question.
The fee will be refundable only if the objection is found to be correct and genuine, the notification states.
Candidates can submit their objections to the Controller of Examinations, SKUAST-K, Shalimar, Srinagar, from October 27 to October 29, 2026, on working days between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
The university has clarified that objections must be accompanied by the prescribed demand draft or bank deposit slip. Representations submitted without the required payment proof will not be entertained, and no objections will be accepted after the stipulated deadline.
Candidates are advised to carefully match the question numbers with their respective question booklet series while checking the provisional answer key.
