Highly placed sources in the Jammu and Kashmir government said that the Cabinet, in its last meeting, recommended the appointment of Makhdoomi as Chairman of BOSE.
The Lok Bhavan has cleared the proposal. A formal order regarding the appointment is set to be issued within the next few days. They said the General Administration Department or the School Education Department would issue the formal order regarding the appointment.
It is worth mentioning here that the search committee constituted by the Jammu and Kashmir government had prepared a panel of three names for the post of Chairman BOSE. (KNO)
