4 J&K Police Officers Deputed as Haj Officers for Haj 2026

Srinagar, April 02: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the deputation of four police officers as Haj Officers for Haj 2026 in Saudi Arabia.

According to an official order issued by the Home Department, the officers have been selected by the Haj Committee of India and will be deputed to the Consulate General of India in Jeddah on a temporary basis.

The officers will be relieved from their duties with effect from April 6, 2026, to take up their assignments for Haj arrangements.

The officers deputed include Peersada Aijaz Ahmad (SP), Mohd Muzaffar Jan (SP), Shahzada Kabir Matoo (SP), and Burhan Ul Haq Kanth (DySP).

The deputation aims to assist in the smooth management and coordination of Haj 2026 for pilgrims from India, particularly from Jammu and Kashmir.
