Eid-ul-Adha 2026 Likely on May 27 as Strong Moon Sighting Chances Seen Across India & Pakistan

The chances of sighting the Dhul Hijjah crescent today are quite strong in India, Pakistan, and adjoining countries.
Even though Saudi Arabia did not confirm moon sighting yesterday, there is still a possibility that many countries, including those in the Middle East and South Asia, may celebrate Bakra Eid together.
Astronomical conditions suggest the moon could remain visible for nearly one hour after sunset.
Meteorological conditions also favor clear sky conditions across most parts of India and Pakistan today.
Accordingly, Wednesday, 27 May, is likely to be observed as Eid-ul-Adha.
