Kathua Police Transfers 11 PSI Officers in Administrative Reshuffle
Kathua, June 9: In a significant administrative reshuffle, the District Police Headquarters Kathua has ordered the transfer and posting of 11 Police Sub-Inspectors (PSIs) with immediate effect.

The transfer order, issued by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kathua, Mohita Sharma (IPS), states that the transfers have been made in the interest of administration to strengthen policing and improve operational efficiency across the district.
List of Transferred Officers
According to Order No. 537 of 2026 dated June 9, 2026, the following officers have been transferred:
- PSI Yudhveer Sharma transferred from Police Station Lakhanpur to Police Post Jakhole as In-Charge.
- PSI Shiv Dutt transferred from Outpost Ghatti to Police Post Marheen as In-Charge.
- PSI Ankesh Kumar transferred from Police Station Kathua to Police Post Chadwal as In-Charge.
- PSI Surjeet Singh transferred from Police Post Jakhole to Police Post Nagri as In-Charge.
- PSI Deepak Kumar transferred from Police Station Lakhanpur to Outpost Ghatti as In-Charge.
- PSI Gulshan Partap Singh transferred from Police Post Marheen to Police Station Billawar as Investigating Officer.
- PSI Deep Kumar transferred from Police Station Bani to Police Station Lakhanpur as Investigating Officer.
- PSI Dalbir Singh Bandral transferred from Police Station Basohli to Police Station Billawar as Investigating Officer.
- PSI Khem Raj transferred from Police Post Nagri to Police Station Basohli as Investigating Officer.
- PSI Ganesh Dutt transferred from Police Station Billawar to Police Station Kathua as Investigating Officer.
- PSI Rohit Sharma transferred from Police Station Malhar to Police Station Lakhanpur as Investigating Officer.
Immediate Joining Ordered
The order directs all transferred officers to relieve themselves from their present postings and join their new places of posting forthwith.
