CBSE Declares Class 12 Board Results 2026: SRINAGAR: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday declared the Class 12 examination results, with more than 85 per cent of candidates clearing the exams this year, a senior official said.
According to the results, the overall pass percentage declined by more than three percentage points compared to last year.
Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj said that over 94,000 students scored above 90 per cent marks, while more than 17,000 candidates secured above 95 per cent.
He further stated that over 1.63 lakh students were placed in the compartment category, reflecting an increase of nearly two percentage points from the previous year.
Girls once again outperformed boys in the examinations, registering a pass percentage of over 88 per cent, while the pass percentage among boys stood at 82 per cent.(KASHMIR LIFE)
