Contractual 10+2 Lecturers’ Regularization: Education Department Issues Reminder to CEOs
Srinagar, Mar 8: The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has issued a reminder to all Chief Education Officers (CEOs) regarding the matter of regularization of Contractual/Academic Arrangement Lecturers working in 10+2 schools.
According to an official communication dated March 5, 2026, the department asked CEOs to provide the required information related to these lecturers under the Civil Special Provision Act 2010 and Government Order No. 1301-Edu of 2003 dated July 31, 2003.
The notice states that in an earlier communication from the Administrative Department dated January 1, 2026, the government order was mistakenly mentioned as Order No. 103-Edu of 2003 dated July 31, 2023. The department clarified that the correct reference is Government Order No. 1301-Edu of 2003 dated July 31, 2003.
