RAJOURI, OCT 13: In a significant administrative action, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, has placed three Block Development Officers (BDOs) in the district under suspension with immediate effect.
The suspension order was issued due to the officers’ poor performance and their collective failure to effectively implement the government’s Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan in their respective jurisdictional areas.

The following BDOs have been suspended, pending a formal inquiry into the matter:
- Khadam Shah – BDO of Budhal Old/ Rajnagar Block

A Signal for Accountability
This decisive move by the district administration underscores a strict zero-tolerance policy towards non-performance and negligence in the implementation of critical government welfare schemes. The Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan is a significant initiative, and its failure at the block level directly impacts grassroots development and public service delivery.
The action sends a clear message to the administrative machinery across Rajouri district to ensure timely and effective execution of all government programs for the benefit of the public.
