Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Technical Assistant: Degree/Diploma in a relevant field.
- Technician:
- SSC/10th with Science subjects + ITI Certificate or National/State Trade Certificate.
- OR SSC/10th with Science + 2 years of apprenticeship.
- OR SSC/10th with Science + 3 years of relevant experience in government/PSUs.
Age Limit:
- Upper Age Limit: 28 years (as of the last date for applications).
- Age Relaxation:
- 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
- 3 years for OBC candidates.
- Other relaxations as per government rules.
Application Fee:
- ₹500 for General/OBC/EWS candidates (via Demand Draft/Banker’s Cheque).
- Exemption: SC/ST/PwBD/Women/Ex-servicemen/Abroad candidates and regular CSIR employees are exempt from the fee.
Selection Process
- Trade/Skill Test: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to the skill test.
- Competitive Written Examination: Candidates qualifying the skill test will appear for the written examination.
- Paper I: Qualifying test for Papers II and III.
- Papers II & III: Evaluated for candidates who meet the threshold in Paper I.
