Eligibility Criteria for Indian Navy SSC Officers
Executive Branch (GS(X)/ Hydro Cadre)
- Qualification: BE / B.Tech in any discipline with minimum 60% marks
Pilot, Naval Air Operations Officer (Observers), Air Traffic Controller (ATC)
- Qualification: BE / B.Tech in any discipline with minimum 60% marks
- Additional: Minimum 60% in class X and XII; 60% marks in English in X or XII
Logistics
- BE/B.Tech First Class or MBA First Class
- B.Sc/B.Com/B.Sc(H) First Class with PG Diploma in Finance/Logistics/Supply Chain/Material Management
- MCA / M.Sc(H) First Class
Education
- MSc/MA with minimum 60% marks in Maths/Operational Research/Physics/Applied Physics/Meteorology/Oceanography/Atmospheric Sciences
- BE/B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Electrical, Electronics, Communication, or related fields
- Minimum 60% marks in class X or XII
Engineering Branch (GS), Submarine Tech, Electrical Branch
- BE / B.Tech in relevant streams with 60% marks

Salary / Allowances
- Initial gross salary for Sub Lieutenant: approx. Rs 1,25,000/- per month plus allowances
- Pilot / NAOO allowance: Rs 31,250/- after training
- Submarine allowance: Rs 31,250/- after submarine training

Selection Process
- Shortlisting: Based on normalized marks obtained in the qualifying degree
- SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for SSB selection (details via email/SMS)
- Medical Examination: Mandatory for selected candidates
- Merit List: Prepared from SSB marks and medical clearance
- Final Appointment: As Sub Lieutenant after successful completion of training
Note: Only one application per candidate; multiple applications will be rejected. NCC ‘C’ certificate holders get 5% relaxation if eligible.
