Jammu and Kashmir Govt Orders Transfer and Posting of Executive Engineers
Jammu, Nov 4: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has issued a fresh order regarding the transfer and posting of several Executive Engineers in the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj. The move aims to streamline administrative efficiency across various districts.

According to officials the order was issued under Government Order No. 320-JK(RD&PR) of 2025, dated November 4, 2025, by the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Civil Secretariat, Jammu/Srinagar. The directive was signed by Mohammad Aijaz, IAS, Secretary to the Government.

As per the order, the following transfers and postings have been made:
- Mr. Shafait Hussain, I/c XEN REW Budgam, has been transferred and posted as I/c Superintending Engineer, REW Kashmir on a full-time basis. He will also hold additional charge as Executive Engineer, REW Budgam until further orders.
- Mr. Fayaz Ahmad Sheikh, Executive Engineer awaiting orders of adjustment, is posted as I/c Executive Engineer, REW Ramban against an available vacancy.
- Mr. Sandeep Singh, Executive Engineer awaiting orders of adjustment, is posted as I/c Executive Engineer, REW Kathua.
- Mr. Syed Ahmad Masoodi, Executive Engineer awaiting adjustment, is posted as I/c Executive Engineer, REW Kulgam, relieving the incumbent holding additional charge of REW Pulwama.
- Mr. Satbir Singh, Executive Engineer awaiting adjustment, is posted as I/c Executive Engineer, REW Kishtwar.
An official from the department stated that these adjustments were made “in the interest of administration” to ensure smoother execution of developmental works under the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department.
