Slow Traffic Movement: Due to HMVs breakdown and single-lane traffic at Dalwas, Mehad, and between Marog and Kishtwari Pather.
Daytime Travel Advisory: LMV passengers are advised to travel during the day due to the risk of shooting stones between Ramban and Banihal.
Goods Carriers: HMVs/LMVs carrying perishable items or livestock must adhere to the Traffic Police Headquarters’ guidelines due to single-lane road conditions and poor infrastructure.
HMV Operators:
Avoid overloading.
Ensure vehicle fitness and sufficient fuel before traveling on NH-44.
Dhar Road Restrictions: Only HMVs with 6 and 10 tires are permitted to ply through Dhar Road.
Avoid Halts: Passengers should avoid unnecessary stops near landslide-prone areas, especially between Ramban and Banihal.
