J&K Government Appoints Sushil Kesar as Additional District Magistrate in Reasi
SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has appointed Sushil Kesar, JKAS, who serves as Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Reasi, as an Executive Magistrate and Additional District Magistrate within his territorial jurisdiction in Reasi district.

The appointment was notified by the Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs through Notification S.O. 261 under Sections 14(1) and 14(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023.
As per the notification, Kesar will exercise the powers of an Executive Magistrate within his jurisdiction in Reasi district. He has also been designated as an Additional District Magistrate under Section 14(2) of the legislation.
