J&K Govt Assigns Additional Charge to Chief Engineers
SRINAGAR/JAMMU: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has ordered the assignment of additional charge of two Chief Engineer-level posts in the Public Works (R&B) Department to ensure smooth functioning of the department.
The order was issued through Government Order No. 314-PW(R&B) of 2026, dated September 8, 2026.
According to the order, the assignments have been made in the interest of administration and the smooth functioning of departmental works.
Additional Charge Assigned in PWD (R&B)
Under the government order, the In-charge Chief Engineer, PWD (R&B) Department, North Kashmir, has been assigned the additional charge of Chief Engineer, PWD (R&B) Department, Zone South Kashmir.
The officer will hold the additional charge in addition to his own duties and until further orders.
Similarly, the In-charge Chief Engineer, PMGSY Zone Kashmir, has been assigned the additional charge of Chief Engineer, PWD (R&B) Department, Zone Central Kashmir.
This charge will also be held in addition to the officer’s existing duties until further orders.
