J&K Lecturer Posting Order 2026
SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the posting of two newly appointed Lecturers in Functional English in government Higher Secondary Schools in Baramulla and Reasi districts with immediate effect.
The School Education Department issued the posting directions through Government Order No. 465-JK(Edu) of 2026, dated October 30, 2026, assigning the newly appointed lecturers to their respective institutions.
As per the order, Naseem Ahmad Khan has been posted at Higher Secondary School (HSS) Kuntzer in Baramulla district, while Shiksha Bala has been assigned to Higher Secondary School (Boys), Reasi.
Appointment and Joining Details
Both lecturers were initially appointed to the School Education Department under Government Order No. 333-JK(Edu) of 2026, dated August 19, 2026.
Following their appointment, the officials were directed to report to the respective Directorates of School Education within 21 days to complete the required joining formalities.

According to the latest government order, both appointees have completed their joining formalities at the Directorate of School Education Kashmir and the Directorate of School Education Jammu, respectively. They were awaiting their final place of posting before the issuance of the latest directions.
Immediate Implementation Ordered
The latest order finalises the place of posting for both lecturers in their respective districts. The concerned authorities and officials have been directed to ensure immediate compliance with the instructions issued by the School Education Department.
The development forms part of the department’s administrative process for assigning newly appointed teaching staff to government educational institutions across Jammu and Kashmir.
Students and educational institutions in the concerned areas will be able to benefit from the placement of the lecturers once they assume their assigned duties.
