J&K PDD Orders Major Placement of 11 Engineers as I/C Superintending Engineers
Srinagar, Dec 09: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir’s Power Development Department (PDD) has issued a significant order placing 11 I/C Executive Engineers (Electrical) as I/C Superintending Engineers on an officiating basis. According to officials quoted by Kashmir News Channel (KNC), Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Global News Service (GNS), or Kashmir News Trust (KNT), the order carries immediate effect as per Government Order No. 164-JK(PDD) of 2025.

Key Conditions of Placement
According to the government order:
● The placements are temporary on a stop-gap basis and subject to the outcome of any writ petitions.
● These placements do not confer any right to promotion until approved by DPC/PSC.
● Any adverse report from any quarter may lead to immediate withdrawal of placement without notice.
