J&K Police Transfers: Govt Orders Postings in ACB, SSPs and DySPs Repatriated
Srinagar, September 1, 2026: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has ordered a series of transfers and postings of police officers in the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), J&K, with immediate effect.

Peerzada Aijaz Ahmad, who was serving as Additional SP, SIA Kashmir, has been transferred and posted in ACB J&K with immediate effect against an available vacant post.
Mudasir Ahmed Tramboo, who was serving as a Deputy Superintendent of Police in ACB J&K, has been promoted and posted as Superintendent of Police in ACB J&K.
The government has also ordered the repatriation of SSPs serving in the Anti-Corruption Bureau to the Home Department for further posting.
Zahoor Ahmad Wani and Ayaz Ahmad Sheikh, both posted in ACB J&K, have been repatriated to the Home Department for further posting.

Several Deputy Superintendents of Police have also been transferred and posted in the Anti-Corruption Bureau.

Ashwani Kumar Angotra and Yog Raj, who were posted in ACB J&K, have been promoted and posted as Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs) in ACB J&K.
