JKBOPEE NEET PG 2025 Re-Revised Merit List Released, Round-3/Mop-Up Counselling Schedule Announced

JKBOPEE NEET PG 2025 Re-Revised Merit List Released, Round-3/Mop-Up Counselling Schedule Announced

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has issued an important notification for NEET PG 2025 aspirants belonging to the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. The board has published the Re-Revised Provisional Merit List for admission to MD, MS, and PG Diploma Courses 2025, along with the detailed schedule for Round-3 and Mop-Up online counselling.

The notification has been issued vide Notification No. 021-BOPEE of 2026 dated January 30, 2026, under reference code NEET-PG-MDMSPGD-NN-021. This update is crucial for candidates waiting for seat allotment, upgradation, or fresh participation in the Mop-Up round.

Why JKBOPEE Issued the Re-Revised Provisional Merit List

According to JKBOPEE, the Re-Revised Merit List was prepared following the reduction of qualifying percentile by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). After this decision, JKBOPEE reopened the online registration portal for eligible and willing NEET PG candidates from J&K and Ladakh for MD/MS/PG Diploma admissions 2025.

Earlier, the board had issued revised merit lists through Notification No. 009-BOPEE of 2026 dated January 15, 2026, and Notification No. 019-BOPEE of 2026 dated January 25, 2026. After publication, candidates were allowed to submit representations within the prescribed time. Two representations were received and verified, leading to the issuance of the Re-Revised Provisional Merit List.

Representations Considered by JKBOPEE

JKBOPEE examined representations submitted by two candidates. Sheikh Aliya Shafi requested consideration of a Difficult Area Certificate issued by the Director Health Services, while Zahid Manzoor Dar sought inclusion under the EWS category.

After verification, JKBOPEE accepted Zahid Manzoor Dar’s EWS certificate as it was issued within the timeline fixed by the board. Sheikh Aliya Shafi has been provisionally allowed to participate in the counselling process but must produce a valid No Objection Certificate from the competent authority at the time of admission, if allotted.

Annexures Released With JKBOPEE Notification

The updated merit lists have been uploaded as Annexure A containing the Re-Revised Provisional Merit List and Annexure B containing the Difficult Area Merit List. These annexures are available only on the official JKBOPEE website at jkbopee.gov.in.

NEET PG 2025 Round-3 and Mop-Up Online Choice Filling Dates

Candidates whose names appear in Annexure A must participate in the online choice filling process within the stipulated time. The online choice filling for Round-3 and Mop-Up counselling will begin on January 30, 2026, from 3:00 PM onwards and will close on February 2, 2026, at midnight. Candidates are strongly advised not to wait till the last date and must carefully fill their preferences to avoid errors.

Eligibility Criteria for JKBOPEE NEET PG 2025 Round-3/Mop-Up Counselling

JKBOPEE has clarified that the following categories of candidates are eligible to participate in the third round and Mop-Up counselling. Candidates who did not get any seat in Round-1 or Round-2 are eligible. Candidates who were allotted a seat and joined in Round-1 or Round-2 can also participate for upgradation. Those who were allotted a seat but could not join due to deficient documents, invalid documents, non-payment of fee, or non-reporting are eligible. Candidates who resigned from their allotted seat in earlier rounds are also eligible. Additionally, candidates who qualified NEET PG 2025 but did not participate in Round-1 or Round-2 can participate in Round-3 or Mop-Up after paying the counselling fee and filling preferences.

Counselling Fee for Round-3/Mop-Up Admissions

Candidates participating for the first time in Round-3 must pay a non-refundable counselling fee of ₹2000. Candidates who already paid the counselling fee during Round-1 or Round-2 are not required to pay again. Only candidates who have paid the fee and completed online preference filling will be considered for seat allotment.

Seat Allotment Rules in JKBOPEE Mop-Up Round

JKBOPEE has stated that only vacant seats will be filled during the Mop-Up round. Vacant Open Merit seats will be allotted strictly to Open Merit candidates. Reserved category seats will be filled by candidates of the respective category as per merit and preferences. If reserved category seats remain vacant due to non-availability of candidates, they may be converted to Open Merit seats as per Section 09(2) of the J&K Reservation Act, 2004.

Important Instructions Issued by JKBOPEE

Candidates must fill maximum preferences during online choice filling to increase their chances of allotment or upgradation. Only candidates listed in Annexure A of the notification will be considered eligible for Round-3 counselling. The seat matrix will be uploaded on the official website before the commencement of choice filling. Mere filling of preferences does not guarantee admission, as final admission will be subject to verification of documents at the allotted institution. Counselling for Hindu Minority Management Quota seats will be conducted separately as and when notified.
