JKBOSE Postpones Class 10, Class 12 & JKSOS Exams Scheduled for July 20
SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Monday postponed the Annual (Private)/Bi-annual 2026 examinations for Class 10, Higher Secondary Part-II (Class 12) and the Jammu and Kashmir State Open School (JKSOS) Class 12 that were scheduled to be held on July 20.

According to a notification issued by Parveen Singh, Director Academics, JKBOSE, the examinations scheduled for Monday have been postponed, and the revised dates will be notified separately.
JKBOSE said the decision applies to the Secondary School Examination (Class 10), Higher Secondary Part-II (Class 12) and JKSOS Class 12 examinations under the Annual (Private)/Bi-annual 2026 session.
The Board also directed all Superintendents of Examination Centres to take necessary action. Superintendents of Class 10 examination centres have been specifically instructed to deposit the confidential examination material back at their respective police stations.
The notification, issued under No. F (Acad-C)/14/2026-01: 7913772 dated July 20, 2026, stated that fresh dates for the postponed examinations will be announced separately.
